Segregated Wireless Network (SWN)

A student may connect to school SWN Wi-Fi network to access the internet for educational purposes.

To connect to SWN Wi-Fi:

1. Select SWN@SSOE from available Wi-Fi network list

2. Once connected, a login page will pop up.

3. Log in using your MIMS account.

4. Remember to 'check' the box to agree on the T&C.

5. Download and install the MOE-SSL certificate. (You only need to do so once.)

Note:

1. You cannot log into more than one device using the same MIMS account at the same time. Your mobile devices will start to experience lagging or experience intermittent access while using the internet.

2. Please remember to log out from SWN at http://portal.swn.moe.edu.sg when you have finished using the connection.

3. Students can now reset their own MIMS password by performing a one-time set-up of answers to 3-security challenge questions. Please follow the instructions found here to do so. If you are unable to perform the set-up or your MIMS account is locked, please contact your Form-teacher(s) or IT personnel at E3-02.
