Principal’s Class of the Year Award

Introduced in 2024 to recognise and affirm classes with students who as a class

• have regular attendance in school,

• high punctuality rate,

• role model desired values and

• demonstrate strong unity and class spirit

Good Improvement Award

Recognises and affirm students who have made significant improvement in their academic results and demonstrated exemplary conduct.

Presented at the end of Semester 2

Josephus Tan Spirit of Resilience Book Prize

Awarded to student with trying family background (eg, financial difficulties, loss of kin), but able to rise through adversities and excel in academics and CCA. Student must also display strength in character and compassion in helping others around him.

Josephus Tan PinnaCle Book Prize

Awarded to one student for each category who excels in

1. English Language

2. Mathematics

3. Science

4. Sports

Josephus Tan Trailblazer Book Prize

Awarded to the ALP Team/s who trailblaze projects in area of science and technology that betters the lives of people living in the community.

CCA Colours Award

Description of Awards

Individual Students that have:

• attained significant achievements in their respective CCAs

• contributed to the running of the CCAs or to the school to his/her best ability

• Represented school in zonal and/or national competitions and attained a certain level of achievement at the above-mentioned platforms

Sports Boy of the Year

Description of Award

Student athlete that has contributed significantly to the sports teams or attained significant achievements in the field of the sport for various competitions and has served as an inspiration to the team.

Outstanding Performer of the Year

Description of Award

Student performer that has contributed significantly to the Performing Arts (PA) CCA or attained significant achievements in the respective PA CCA and has served as an inspiration to the team.

Outstanding Contributor of the Year

Description of Award

Member that has contributed significantly to the Clubs and Societies or attained significant achievements in the respective Clubs and Societies in external events or competitions.

Outstanding Cadet of the Year

Description of Award

Cadet that has contributed significantly to the Uniformed Group (UG) or attained significant achievements in the respective UG specifically for proficiency-related competencies, and/or has been selected to represent the unit in Inter-Unit representations.

Description of Awards

During the period that student is appointed as a student leader, he/she has:

• contributed significantly to the school as a leader in the Student Council;

• exhibited exemplary conduct and leadership skills in their areas of work in the Student Council

• is an inspiration to his/her fellow peers and juniors.
